One of my summer bucket list items is to visit all of the Toledo Metroparks.  There are about 11 of them.  A couple of weeks ago, we visited Side Cut Park and last weekend, we visited Swan Creek (above).

 They enjoyed the swinging bridge at Swan Creek (above) and climbing on rocks on the Maumee River at Side Cut (below).

 They also have locks at Side Cut though they are no longer used. So we have two parks marked off the list and several more to look forward to.

 All three kids also finished their first year of Awana. Now it's time for a change of pace while we enjoy summer break!
